Arctic Symbol racehorse Sydney Cup winner

Arctic Symbol was foaled in 1965 and was by Arctic Explorer out of the mare Star Symbol (by Voluntary)

His most important wins were in the 1970 Sydney Cup and 1970 Turnbull Stakes.

He ran some quality placings as well - 2nd to Voleur in the 1970 Mackinnon Stakes, 2nd to Gay Poss in the 1970 Caulfield Stakes and 2nd to Gay Icarus in the 1971 Chipping Norton Stakes.

He also ran 3rd in the 1971 Sydney Cup to Gallic Temple.

He was retired to stud around 1973 to moderate success.
