Artello Bay racehorse Perth Cup winner

Artello Bay was foaled in 1964 and was by Martello Towers out of the mare Copper Beech (by Treasure Hunt)

His main claim to fame was his win in the 1971 Perth Cup but won another 11 races including a Tattersall's Cup, Diggers Cup and Pinjarra Cup.

His sire, Martello Towers, was a triple crown winner in 1959 when he won the Canterbury Guineas, Rosehill Guineas and Australian Derby.
