BEGINNERS LICK HORSE RACING SYSTEM

This system is for use at midweek provincial and country meetings and not designed for use at city tracks.

THE RULES:

1. Use only in Maidens, Class I, Class 2 and Class 3 handicap races (Up to 68 Class races in the new terminology)

2. Eliminate any race longer than 1600 metres

3. Eliminate any race with less than ten runners

4. Eliminate any horse that is NOT top weight or equal top weight

5. Eliminate any horse NOT ridden by a claiming apprentice
