This staking
plan is a really interesting mathematical approach to
the age old problem of maximising profits from any series
of investments that returns periodic dividends
This WILL NOT turn a losing
system in to a winning one. Let me repeat that in big
print: This WILL NOT turn a losing system in to
a winning one.
It may turn a system that
wins small amounts at level stakes in to one that produces
much better returns without all the usual stress and tension
that seems to be inbuilt in to other progression staking
plans – the stress and tension that psychologically
plays doubting mind games with you and makes you question
your own judgment. (Been there – done that –
got bored - left!)
It
uses only a 1% of bank staking unit approach,
but, together with an innovative bet multiplier method,
returned us 19.69% profit on turnover for the same Chevron
methodology place selections that only returned 10% at
level stakes.
Up
until this point in time we have always been a bit shy
of staking plans - believing them to be interesting but
no substitute for a sound level stakes approach. This
may change your mind (as it has ours) about the worthiness
of staking plans forever. We always found with other "progressions"
that the dramas and mind games and self doubts that set
in during a prolonged run of outs far outweighed the supposed
benefits of the approach and detracted from the enjoyment
of implementation. This one IS different or we would not
have persisted with it. It does
possess great potential for increased profits through
its application to many other selection ideas
- PROVIDED THEY SHOW A PROFIT AT LEVEL STAKES ALREADY.
The Cascade 10 will not turn a losing system in to a winning
one. Actually, think about it - why would
you persist with a system that demonstrably can't win
at level stakes anyway?
Here's
what one of the purchasers of our Pattern 25
methodology had to say when he used it in conjunction
with that method:
"
On Saturday I used a $5000 bank with a $50 base bet and
kept the base bet the same and ended up with a bank of
$11,252. I also made a mistake with Ascot race 4 and had
Cheri Cheval which won at 6.00 instead of Redhage, but
I also left out Toorak Toff earlier on by mistake (no
I am not blonde just a bit too much air between my ears
some days). I also used Betfair and was about 20% better
on each bet ( Pity the poor bugger that layed me $150
at $42 on Small Minds. Yes I spent all day on it, but
what the heck, the wife did not mind at all when we went
out for dinner.
Looking back at the months you certainly do need the big
prices to cut in to make the big gains, but even when
things go quiet there is no stress as returning to the
base bet takes all the stress out. I like that about the
Cascade system, it's good for my temperament, bets aren't
getting bigger when you are in a run of losers. I did
the Retirement (Staking Plan) as a comparison. But Cascade
10 seems to better on all fronts. M., 23.03.10"
Using
the Cascade 10 staking plan is not a "set and forget"
approach - as each bet is dependant on the one
before it. If you're prepared to spend the time following
each day's races as they happen, this staking plan will
reward you much more than you can probably imagine.
Did
The Cascade 10 Staking PLan work on Chevron win bets as
well as place bets? Sure did.....
the gross profit was substantially higher but profit on
turnover was lower. The net profit for the month starting
with a $1000 bank was $2411.80 which was a profit on turnover
of 47.6% - and that included a run of outs during the
month of 17.
In
fact, with the Cascade 10 Staking Plan, the inevitable
run of outs basically "self-insured" survival
with no huge build up of bets (or stress!).
So, and this is really self explanatory, while
the net profit in win betting was substantially higher
than using a level stakes approach, the profit on turnover
fell from 56% to 47%.
We

intact) on our Chevron method included and the formulas
explained (and spelled out) to make sure you understand
how the things work!
When
you first get our list of instructions you will inevitably
say "Huh? What the hell is this all about?".
The instructions do look confusing at first glance. This
is why we include the Excel spreadsheets workout and couple
that with a line by line detailed explanation of what
and why we're doing it and also why we are always happy
to answer email questions about it. . It doesn't matter
how many times you have to read the instructions, the
penny will eventually drop and when it does your reaction
will probably be the same as ours first was - WOW!
