Each 2nd in last 2 starts 3 points
Each 3rd in last 2 starts 2 points
Each 4th in last 2 starts 1 point
Distance and course winner 3 points
Distance winner 2 points
Course winner 1 point
Had a run in the last 21 days 3 points
Top 8 jockey riding
3 points
Barrier
drawn inside 50% of the total starters 3 points
Naturally the top point scorer is the selection
