Free Greyhound Points greyhound racing system

 

THE RULES:

• Give each runner a starting 100 points then look at each dog’s last three starts and add and subtract as follows:

1) subtract 2 points for each length beaten in those last three races (up to a maximum of 16)

2) add 2 points for each length it won by in those last three starts

3) nose, head, neck or quarter of a length are all regarded as half a length

4) add further two points for each win in its last three starts

5) add further 1 point for each second and third in last three starts

6) subtract 2 points for each unplaced run in last three starts

7) add a bonus 12 points for a win last start

8) top point scorer is selection
