Horse racing winners by days since last start statistics

Here are some interesting statistics that you may wish to consider in your approach to establishing patterns of predictability.

An Australian study was undertaken about 5 years ago looking at the performance of horses in relation to the number of days since their last start.

A large percentage of these races were won by horses who started within the last 21 days.

These are significant percentages.
