Lancelotto - race horse AustralianLancelotto was foaled in 1978 and was by Zamazaan out of the NZ mare Piacene (by Village Square)

Trained by T J Smith he was a handy middle distance performer in the early 1980s and his best performance was when he won the Group 3 1984 Coongy Handicap

He ran second in the AJC Metropolitan in 1982 behind Nicholas John and also finished 2nd in the 1986 Summer Cup behind Limitless.

Always tipped to win one of the major cup staying races he never quite made the grade.
