MULTI-METH

Multi-Meth is a long term approach to seven day a week punting on thoroughbred races in all States and Territories in Australia, and occasionally looks at races in New Zealand and Hong Kong.

The NEW SUBSCRIBERS rate is $29.95 per month (operates date to date from whenever you commence) - CLICK BELOW

It simultaneously analyses 24 of our most consistent methods to arrive at a daily sheet of qualifiers that, over the LONG TERM, attempts to show a profit on investment at level stakes. Each of these 24 methods has shown a pattern of consistently winning in the long term and most of them have a strike rate/race in excess of 30% and a minimum profit on turnover of 10% so, combined, represent what we believe, to be the best chance of overall long term profit.

These 24 methods will be the approach we are adopting as our "standard" until the end of 2012. No further changes will be made to these methods before the end of the year - if then.

Note: we only use a level stake betting on these selections. (We recommend 1% of your "bank" - or even half of one percent or a third of one percent - why? Because we are boringly conservative) ) It may well be that a well executed staking plan, would accelerate this. We have been experimenting using the minimalist staking plan (fully detailed in our Grail method) and getting good if slow returns using a $2.50 minimum price approach. Why? We are looking for long term stability - not short term excitement.

In other words, if you so choose it to be, this is all a "level stakes set and forget" approach to daily punting. Once scratchings are notified. all your bets are decided. Yes, there some races with more than one selection. You could dutch bet these races or target bet them but that would then require knowing the odds before they jump and would defeat the set and forget objective of what we do.

By using a secondary set of filters (yours!) you may only choose to back only one of the selections when multi-meth throws up the occasional race where there is more than one selection - that's up to you - your decision - we haven't pre tested any ideas with this circumstance...(e.g. lowest TAB #, best barrier, lowest weight etc etc etc ) That would be entirely up to you and your research based decisions.

We email you the raw qualifiers on a daily basis from all 24 methodologies.

WIN BETTING

Using the Standard 24 methods of selection from January 1, 2011 to April 30, 2012 the LEVEL STAKES results are these:

3361 selections from 3131 "races" (duplicate selections included) - race win s/r 36.0% - Outlay 3361 units - return 4196.78 units - nett profit on turnover 835.78 units or 24.9%

**Note well.........since January 1, 2012 this MultiMeth Standard 24 idea is DOWN about 9% (or down 35% on long term average).

The figures above include "duplicate bets" where a selection is common to more than one method so may include level stakes bets two to five times greater than normal.
ELIMINATING these duplicate bets e.g. at level stakes maximum one unit per selection regardless of the number of methods selecting and the figures become:

2524
selections from 2356 races (duplicate selections NOT included) - 785 race wins s/r 33.3% - Outlay 2524 units - return 3159.92 units - profit on turnover 635.92 units or 25.2%

As a point of interest only, using races where there were multiple selections, the strike rate for quinellas and exactas was about 16% showing a good profit and about 12% for trifectas showing minimal profit

PLACE BETTING

For the Standard 24 methods of selection 1.1.11 to 30.4.12, place betting returned a 60.6% strike rate with profit on turnover of 2.8% (no duplicates)

NOTE WELL: It is not an unusual occurrence for some days to return NO selections. We advise you accordingly if this is the case.

If you would like a complete 1/1/2011 - 30/4/2012 betting workout (80 page pdf) emailed to you for your perusal simply ask by clicking HERE and it will be e-mailed to you.

All of these methods with rules and workouts we use in the Standard 24 are available on CD as part of our Whole Box & Dice 2012

Particularly profitable methodologies that may come to light during 2012 will also be included as time rolls by or an even greater risk spread and safety, but as we often say, nothing about gambling is safe!.

We don't use some of our methodologies that throw up the occasional 50/1 winner as we believe that while these are fine on their "lonesome", if you are adding it in to the mix it tends to push the INEVITABLE run of outs too far for comfort and sustainability so we stick to the less exotic. As you can see from the tables above, 2011 was a good year.

It DOES NOT NECESSARILY follow that 2012 will be the same - we hope it will be but there are no guarantees - as racing does not always work out that way and why the pages of racing history are littered with the corpses of unbeatable racing systems.

F.A.Qs:

Does it work for quinella / trifecta betting where there are multiple selections?    Nothing worth writing home about

Would I win more on Betfair?    If you are prepared to put in the extra work and hours, probably.
