The Stawell Gift was won by George Treacey of Northcote, Victoria, in 11 8/10 seconds.

The Stawell Gift was won by Noel Hussey of Echuca, Victoria, in 12.1 seconds.

The Stawell Gift was won by Barry Foley of Ascot Vale, Victoria, in 11.8 seconds. He won again in 1972 with the same time but a shorter handicap.
