In a one day cricket match against Queensland, Tasmanian batsman Ben Dunk scored 229 not out, the first Australina batsman to do a "double ton" in a one day match. It was not enough to get Tasmania over the line however. In an incredible game, Tasmania finished their innings at 398 but Queensland scored 3-402. Queensland openers Usman Khawaja and Chris Hartley posted 280 to set a new domestic partnership record, breaking the previous mark set just hours earlier by their Tasmanian counterparts.
