THE RULES

1) Eliminate any horse showing more than $6.00 for a win with ten minutes to go in the betting

2) Eliminate any contender going up in distance more than 200 metres or back in distance more than 100 metres

3) Eliminate any contender that hasn't started in the last 17 days at a metropolitan track

4) Eliminate any contender that has not won within 150 metres of today's distance

5) Eliminate any contender that did not finish within 3 lengths of the winner at it's last start

6) Eliminate any contender that s not in the top 4 as far as average prize money is concerned

7) Eliminate any contender that does not have at least a 20% win strike rate or 70% place strike rate

8) Eliminate any contender rising in weight AND class from its last start

9) Eliminate any contender rising in weight more than 1.5kgs and racing in the same class

10) Eliminate any contender who,on past performances, is NOT likely to be in the first four runners turning for home
