Patrobas racehorse Melbourne Cup winnerRacehorse Patrobas was foaled in 1912 and was by Melbourne Cup winner Wallace out of the mare Sizzle (by Simmer)

His main wins were in the 1915 Melbourne Cup ridden by Bobby Lewis and also the VRC Derby and Caulfield Guineas - the first to win the "Triple Crown".

Patrobas was owned by Mrs Edith Widdis, the first woman to own a Melbourne Cup winner.
