mare Lyrical Lass (by St Andrew)
His main wins were in the
1957 & 1958 Chelmsford
Stakes, 1957 Craven
Plate, 1957 Fernhill Handicap, 1958 VATC St
George Stakes and 1958 Colin
Stephens Stakes.
He ran many quality placings,
including 4 times behind the champion Tulloch
in high level stakes races and ran second in the 1957 Melbourne
Cup behind Straight
Draw.
He is pictured (left) returning
to scale after another win and being ridden by Arthur Ward.
In his later career he was
trained by Theo Lewis at Flemington, having previously been trained
by J W Cook at Randwick.
