the mare Bonlene (by Capricornio)
Trained
by Deidre Stein and ridden by Kevin Langby, his main claim
to fame was in his Cox
Plate win in 1985 as a five year old defeating Roman
Artist and Drawn.
He
followed that up with a win in the Mackinnon
Stakes beating So Vague and The Filbert.
This
form led him to start at $21.00 in the Melbourne
Cup of that year.
