SD2012 horse racing system

Tested April 7 2012 to April 7 2013

Win betting profit on turnover 31.3% during the 12 months at LEVEL STAKES at a race winning strike rate of 47.0% and a place betting profit on turnover of 12.9% at a strike at a strike rate of 77.1%.

SD2012 (SD stands for Strictly Distance) was developed by us and tested from 7.4.2012 to 07.04.2013 for use exclusively on most Australian race meetings 7 days a week (excluding heavy tracks).

Overall during the 12 months there were just 83 races that SD2012 suggested an investment for, encompassing 83 different horses. The winning race strike rate was 47.0% with an average win dividend of $2.79 with a profit on turnover of 31.3% and the place strike rate was 77.1% with an average dividend of $1.46 and a place betting profit on turnover of 12.9%.

It is a method designed to ensure we are only backing horses with a proven ability over the distance of today's race.

Obvious questions:

Would Betfair have been better? Obviously so. If you want to put in the extra hours and bet race by race, you'll generally always do better. We simply ran it as a set and forget exercise on the TAB.

Are there many rules to this method? About 18

Do I have to buy form? No

Does it take long to do the rules? Minutes per day if you a re doing it manually - just about zero time if you use an automated programme

** Because of the limited number of selections, you will find this method needs to be combined with others to maintain "interest"
