From 58 starts he he won 13 races, 12 seconds and 8 thirds and $4,640,314 in prize money.

His main wins were in the Epsom Handicap, 2001 Queen Elizabeth Stakes and George Main Stakes (defeating Sunline) and incredibly he ran second in 12 other Group 1 races.

He died during the running of the Emirates Stakes race on the last day of the 2003 Melbourne Cup carnival after collapsing near the 1100 metre pole while being ridden by Glen Boss.
