Of Kingston was foaled in 1981 and was by Bletchingly
out of the mare Kingston Rose (by Better Boy)

Hoysted, she was a very handy mare who won $417,000 in
prize money from 25 starts that resulted in 6 wins, 3
seconds and 7 thirds.
She was named
Victorian Horse Of The Year for 1984 / 1985 and won some
great races like the VRC Oaks, the STC Canterbury Guineas
and STC Rosehill Guineas, the Black Opal STakes and Edward
Manifold Stakes.
She was retired
to stud and sent to the USA where she had five foals up
until 1995. Her most successful foal is Portland Player
who won the Victorian Derby in 1996.
