He was named Star King in Ireland and was re-named Star Kingdom when imported to Australia.

Not only was he a champion racehorse, he was a champion sire and a sire of champion sires and probably one of the most influential horses in Australian breeding in the last 100 years.

From just 16 starts, he had 9 wins and three placings and won £12293.

His main wins were in the Gimcrack Stakes (GB,6f), Richmond Stakes (GB,6f), Stud Produce Stakes (GB,5f), Coronation Stakes (GB,6f), Greenham Stakes (GB,7f), Jersey Stakes (GB,7f), Hungerford Stakes (GB,7F), Sorrel Stakes, (GB,6f) and Manton Maiden Stakes (GB,5f).

In Australian breeding he was Champion Australian sire 5 times and Champion Australian Sire of two year olds seven times. He stood at Baramul Stud for 16 years and died in 1967.
