Taj Rossie - race horse - Cox Plate winnerTaj Rossi was foaled in 1970 and was by Matrice out of the mare Dark Queen (by Coronation Boy)

In his career he won some very classy races in 1973 like the Cox Plate over 2040m, the VRC Derby over 2500m, George Adams Handicap (now the Emirates Stakes) at 1600m and then the Sandown Guineas over 1600m.
