This
method was first circulated in the UK and has since
been "around the world" numerous times and
sold under different names. Does it work? Don't know
- haven't spent any time testing it.
It
is presented here (with updated equivalent terminology)
for your entertainment only:
The
Rules:
Operate
only on open class races, class 5/6 races, 0-89 races
or better.
Any
eligible race must have a clear cut favourite with
three minutes remaining in the betting
Dutch
bet the horses that are second and third favourites
at that point of the betting.
Staking
Plan:
Divide
you bank by 4 and then put half of that on each of
the second and third favourites.
(Example:
If your bank is $120, divide by four equals $30 -
so bet is $15 on each of the second and third favourites.)
Some
people operate it on all flat racing handicaps but
most use the class restrictions as outlined above.
