THE RULES:
Operates only
on open and welter class races on metro meetings
Eliminate any runner handicapped on the minimum weight
Draw a line through the field at the 56kg mark. Any horse above
the line is a # 1 chance and any below the line are #2 chances
Looking at the
#1 horses check out those on the first three lines of betting:
If favourite 10 points
2nd favourite 8 points
3rd favourite 6 points
Same weight last start 10 points
Up ½ kg or 1kg from last start 8 points
Up 1½kgs or 2kgs from last start 6 points
Down ½ kg or 1kg from last start 8 points
Down 1½kgs or 2kgs from last start 6 points
Down 2.5kgs or more from last start 3 points
Now check
any of the #2 list of horses on the same basis ONLY if is favourite
The contender with the most points is the selection
If equal on points ignore the race
