Back One is a unique place
betting and staking system developed by
us and tested in March 2008 with OUTSTANDING results.
It
was developed with the smaller punter in mind who is averse
to extraordinary risk and requires a solid and achievable
return for the time investment involved.
Our
"road test' was March 1 2008 to March 31 2008 on
this website with daily tips published in advance and
involved analysing thousands of races resulting in 277
events that qualified and, after the staking system requirements,
201 actual bets were made.
Linked
to our staking system, our modest $100
starting bank on March 1 was $1410.90 at
the close of the trial on March 31 - a very handy raw
gain of over $1300 in the month and representing a profit
on turnover of 25.16%.
And remember, we only ever risked $100 and this is only
PLACE BETTING!
Our staking system is included with this selection system
as we find it is quite good but is only included as a
guide to your own ideas on staking which in all probability
will be far better than ours!!
The
overall figures based on all possible 276 events being
invested on was a place strike rate of 59.71%
and a win strike rate of 23.38% with level stakes profits
8.7% and 10.64% respectively (if you had bet on every
selection).
Using our staking system rules,
our longest run of place betting "outs" was
5 and that occurred just once during the month
long trial.
Our
second longest run of place betting outs was 4 and, again,
this occurred just once during the month.
Stop
loss safeguards have been built into our staking plan
so any lengthy run of outs has a minimal effect on the
long term outcome.
We
operated on every meeting in every State during March
and utilised our Unitab account - there is probably an
argument for using Betfair for guaranteed prices but we
have not investigated this aspect of it.
Now
we normally steer clear of progression target betting
but believe we have incorporated enough safeguards in
this methodology to avoid the unnecessary stress factors
that make it generally unpalatable. Part of the reason
for the success is the place strike rate of nearly 60%
and short losing streaks.Do
you need to put time in to this? Yes. Nothing comes from
nothing!
Do
you need an internet based TAB account? Yes - but you
could do it from a TAB agency but probably not as efficiently.
Do
you need to be concerned with approximate odds? Yes.
Can
you bet in advance - say in the mornings? No
