Have
you sat for hours on end watching greyhound races on Sky
Channel and thought “there has to be a way of consistently
making dollars out of all these betting opportunities”?
The starting point for Aussie Greyhound Gold was an analysis
of over 120000 Australian greyhound races between January
1, 2000 and July 2006 and, yes, there are some amazingly
similar form lines and circumstances shared by a good
percentage of the winners – a big enough percentage
to make accumulation possible and a large enough sample
to uarantee consistency. We know that a lot of people
roll their eyes back in their head when you talk greyhound
“form” because they immediately think you
need a slide rule and calculator to work out how many
hundredths of a second a dog’s head is worth in
beaten margins but the selection criteria, which are clearly

personally do not use a progressive betting strategy with
this system.
We
only use a simple level stakes approach because we believe
that only a system that can win at level stakes is worthwhile.
However, it will probably do remarkably better with a
progressive investment strategy,but that is an entirely
different game! The accepted knowledge seems to be that
if it wins at level stakes you can increase those winnings
with a progression staking plan. Our
prime target was to develop a set of “rules”
if you like, based on historical data, that would return
a profit, now matter how slowly, at level stakes, on either
win betting or place betting.
Here
are just some results from our programme from nearly 700
races over July and the early part of August, 2006. These
are not exceptional figures - just a pretty average slice
of normal expectations and operation and recent enough
for validation.
