POSITIVE PLUS was developed by us in April, May and June 2010

THIS METHOD APPLIES TO RACE MEETINGS CONDUCTED ON SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS, TUESDAYS, WEDNESDAYS AND THURSDAYS IN ALL STATES EXCEPT QUEENSLAND AND SOUTH AUSTRALIA.

It is a win selection methodology and there is only one selection possible per race. All selections are known by 10am (scratchings time) and all bets for the day can be placed then.

April 17 2010 to June 19 2010 results:

171 bets - 40 winners (23.39%) with an average win dividend of $5.83

LEVEL STAKES WIN BETTING:

We started with a "bank" of $750 (Tote) on April 17, 2010 and by June 19 2010, using a $25 flat stake win bet approach ( 3.33% of our starting bank), our bank stood at $2302.00 and a profit showing of $1552.00

That $25 flat stake now represents about 1.3 % of our bank. We have never increased nor decreased our flat stake from $25 at any stage.

It represented a PROFIT ON TURNOVER of  36.30%.

As you can see, we waited until we had our worst possible "run out outs" days before concluding our test so as not to over inflate any potential average result.

Does this work as a place betting strategy? No
Does it work as an exotics strategy? No
How long does it take to do the selections? About 15 minutes on race days
Why doesn't it work in South Australia and Queensland? We believe they are not as consistent in form and class as the other States.
Why doesn't it work on Mondays and Fridays? Low class racing (unless public holiday Monday meetings)
Could you make even more from this if you had the time to sit at the computer and use Betfair? Probably but we don't really know. We used it as a "run along in the background" method while we were doing other things.
